EI core classification

The EI core is a kind of electronic transformer in a certain degree. In the process of manufacturing, it is mainly defined according to the shape of its iron core, mainly because the core of the EI transformer is formed of "E" type and "I" type. The EI transformers are categorized according to size, and the general large category is classified according to the length of the silicon steel sheet. For example, commonly used are EI-19, EI-28, EI-35, EI-41, EI-48, EI-57, EI-66, EI-76.2, EI-86, EI-96, EI-114, and the like. Among them, 28, 35, 41 these are the lengths of silicon steel sheets.

The detailed classification of the EI core also considers the total stack thickness of the silicon steel sheet, and some transformers have an EI-48*20 marking. This 20 refers to the total stack thickness of the silicon steel sheet is 20mm, so this transformer is EI-48.
