Manufacturing material of 3-phase EI silicon steel sheet in transformer

Due to the low loss characteristics of silicon steel in alternating magnetic fields, 3-phase EI silicon steel sheets are often used as magnetic materials. In contrast, cold-rolled 3-phase EI silicon steel sheets are often used as transformers because of their good magnetic permeability and low loss. At the same time, it also shows the advantages of small size, light weight and high efficiency.

 

The 3-phase EI silicon steel sheet is formed by punching a silicon steel sheet into 0.35-0.5 mm thick E-type and I-type sheets, and then heat-inserting and then inserting into the winding wire package. Such iron cores are mostly made of hot-rolled silicon steel sheets, and the cores of the ring-type and C-type transformers are formed by winding a cold-rolled silicon steel strip, and the C-type transformer is formed by heat-treated immersion paint and then cut.

 

Normally, the leakage inductance of the transformer is generated by the magnetic flux that does not pass through the primary and secondary coils, and these magnetic fluxes pass through the air to close the magnetic circuit. Therefore, enhancing the coupling density between the primary and secondary of the transformer can reduce the leakage inductance, which requires the use of high-quality 3-phase EI silicon steel sheets to ensure that the leakage inductance does not exceed the specified range.
