Silicon steel annealing temperature and process

The temperature of the silicon steel sheet during annealing should not be too high or too high. If it is too high, it will affect the insulating coating or bond the laminated sheet. For the temperature of the silicon steel sheet that we see in general, we do the following, the temperature of the general oriented silicon steel sheet is around 800 degrees. The annealing temperature of the non-oriented silicon steel sheet is about 700 degrees, and the atmosphere in the furnace is strictly controlled to be a non-oxidizing atmosphere during the annealing.

The principle is that the insulation coating on the surface of the core is not oxidized, non-carburized, and the electrical steel strip (silicon steel sheet) is not significantly deteriorated. It is best to use hydrogen-nitrogen mixed gas containing 2-10% of hydrogen. Adding a small amount of hydrogen ensures that the core punch will not oxidize. The dew point in the shielding gas should generally be below 0°C.
