In this way, the volume of the transformer core is reduced and the weight is reduced. At the same time, the amount of silicon steel plates, wires, insulating materials and structural materials can be saved, and the total loss and manufacturing cost of the motor and the transformer can be reduced.

 

In addition, this also provides favorable conditions for the manufacture, installation and transportation of large transformers and large motors. At the same time, the need for magnetic anisotropy must also be considered. Everybody should know that in fact, the motor is in operation, and the transformer core is composed of a stator and a rotor with toothed circular punched plates, and the silicon steel plate is required to be magnetically isotropic, so a non-oriented cold-rolled silicon steel sheet is used. Or hot-rolled silicon steel manufacturing.

 

In practical applications, the transformer works in a static state. Under normal circumstances, large and medium-sized transformer cores are stacked in strips, and some heat distribution transformers, current and voltage transformers, and pulse transformers are manufactured by winding cores to ensure that the material is rolled along the rolling direction of the silicon steel sheet. And magnetization, so are all made of cold rolled oriented silicon steel.

 

In order to ensure the reliability of the transformer, there is also a certain requirement for the stamping quality of the raw material when making the transformer core. Under normal circumstances, when the user uses silicon steel plate, punching and shearing work is very heavy. Therefore, it is required that the silicon steel plate should have good punching property. This requirement is very important for micro and small motors. In fact, a good punching property can increase the life of the die and the scissors, and at the same time, it can also help improve the precision of punching and trimming dimensions and reduce the burr phenomenon.

 

In addition to these characteristics, when selecting the transformer core material, it is required that the surface of the steel plate be smooth, flat and uniform in thickness. This is mainly to increase the lamination coefficient of the iron core. The high lamination factor allows the transformer core to use more space, reduce the air gap, and reduce the exciting current.
